The objective of this project is to create a virtual lab environment for design and manufacturing-related courses. The virtual lab consists of three rooms including design, manufacturing shop, and testing & quality control labs. In the design lab, students are able to interact with part, assembly, and drawing files. There are various virtual demonstration and simulation of various manufacturing equipment in the manufacturing shop where students can learn and practice additive, subtractive, formative, and casting processes virtually.

Incorporating VR into the modern classroom environment provides an innovative solution for optimizing learning effectiveness and improving educational outcomes of the course learning objectives.
